Service Description

Hundreds of years ago, airplanes had not even made their first flight, yet today we can fly to the other side of the world in hours! It is thanks to advances in technology that we are able to explore so much of the world. Over four days, teams will work as mechanical engineers to explore the engineering of travel. This trek will require students to design their very own boats, planes, cars, blimps, rockets, and more! This camp is for APPRENTICE engineers (aged 8-11). This amazing race features hands-on building to beat a variety of challenges. We are excited to be partnering with LaserTopia to offer fun STEM-based camp activities AND laser tag and arcade time! Camp runs Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm with early drop off at 8:30am and late pick-up at 4:30pm. One day drop-in option available on request- please email winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com directly to inquire. Campers must bring their own nut-free lunch. Food is also available for purchase from LaserTopia. Snacks and water always provided.
