Service Description

With the winter Olympics over, our summer World Games are just beginning! Campers will code Lego Spike Prime robot kits to complete Olympic-sized challenges! Have you ever seen a robot breakdance?! Plus, we’ve given some classic EFK engineering challenges a sports twist, with one non-coding activity per day. July 13-16, 2026 (Monday-Thursday) 9:00am-4:00pm early drop off from 8:30am / late pick up to 4:30pm available Serratus Movement Centre (1-55 Henlow Bay) Campers work in teams of two for coding. Multiple coding challenges daily will ensure everyone has ample time to try coding and building the robot. If you are signing up with a friend, please let us know so we can pair you together! Individual sign ups are also welcome and will be partnered based on age and coding experience. PLUS, thanks to our amazing host facility, campers will spend half the day with Serratus Movement Centre! Campers will learn parkour from SMC’s coaches, plus spend plenty of time playing and exploring the amazing indoor parkour facility. The day is arranged such that half of the campers spend the morning coding/ engineering, while the other half are in the gym. We all have lunch together and then switch for the afternoon! Camper groups are divided on the first day by age and coding experience. Coding, constructing, AND climbing?! Yes, please! Note that robot kits are shared among the camp, so the robots will be disassembled at lunch and again at the end of the day. We will be sure to share tons of photos and videos of the robots in action, so don’t worry if you miss seeing the robot in person. Our robotics camps are recommended for ages 7-12. Please contact winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com or 204-808-3019 to discuss registering kids outside of these age guidelines. Kids should bring their own nut-free lunch, a water bottle, and indoor shoes for the gym. Kids may also choose to bring a quiet activity for free time. EFK is not responsible for items brought from home. Snacks and water are available at camp. Our coding/ parkour camps are very popular! Deposit required to secure your spot. Deposit is non-refundable for no-shows after camp has started. IF REGISTRATION IS FULL – please email winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com to be added to the waitlist. P.S – did you know SMC runs their own camps all summer long? If your camper is only interested in the parkour portion of the day, we highly recommend registering for an SMC camp instead!
