Welcome to Survivor: Engineer’s Cove! Students in this five-day camp will find themselves stranded on an abandoned island filled with perilous obstacles – dark caves, wild animals, cold temperatures, little food, and separation from the comforts of home. They will work collaboratively with their team members to compete against other teams in specific engineering-related projects aimed at trying to survive the harsh island conditions and escape to their freedom. The team with the most points at the end of the week will claim the honor of Survivor: Engineer’s Cove winner. This camp is for APPRENTICE engineers (aged 8-11) and MASTER engineers (ages 12-14). Apprentice and Masters students work on the same projects, with masters students working on additional challenges for some parts of the week. Engineer's Cove features hands-on building from a variety of engineering disciplines (electrical, environmental, aerospace, and more). We are excited to be partnering with LaserTopia to offer fun STEM-based camp activities AND laser tag and arcade time! Camp runs Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm with early drop off at 8:30am and late pick-up at 4:30pm. One day drop-in option available on request- please email winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com directly to inquire. Daily lunch is included.
