Service Description
Blast off for adventure in this exciting week of aerospace engineering! Students will learn about the forces of flight and the mechanical components of airplanes, rockets, helicopters, and landing gears. They will explore concepts such as inertia, propulsion, lift, thrust, drag, gravity, and trajectory. Students will apply the EFK Engineering Design Process as they soar through inspiring, hands-on engineering challenges. Join us for this fun-filled, high-flying adventure! This camp is for APPRENTICE engineers (aged 8-11) and MASTER engineers (aged 12-14). Apprentice and Master students work on the same projects, with exciting extensions for Master students. We are excited to be partnering with Serratus Movement Centre to offer fun STEM-based camp activities with movement breaks featuring an exciting indoor parkour gym! Camp runs Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm with early drop off at 8:30am and late pick-up at 4:30pm. One day drop-in option available on request- please email winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com directly to inquire. Daily lunch is included.
