Springtime Spectacular Workshops

Daycare looking for a special guest? Kid's birthday over spring break? Homeschool group hosting a special event? We've got you covered! Engineering for Kids is pleased be offering kids science entertainment specifically curated for springtime fun. The following activities are available during Spring Break (March 30-April 2, 2026) ONLY, and with a very limited number of spaces! First come, first served. Recommended for ages 4-12. Depth of science content can be modified to suit individual groups. Activities are listed in order of "easiest" to "most challenging". _______________________________________________________________________________ Activities (Choose ONE): - Spring Flowers: Young civil engineers will build origami vases, then fill them with colourful paper flowers! NOTE: This activity contains significant crossover material with winter break's "Striking Snowflakes" workshop. If you booked that one over winter, we recommend selecting something different for spring break. - Spring Chicken: Young environmental engineers will design a bird's nest from found materials to protect an egg from a simulated windstorm! NOTE: This activity does NOT involve real eggs. - Spring Musical: Young audio engineers will discover how vibrating air produces sound, then design their own original musical instrument! _______________________________________________________________________________ All activities run approximately one hour. Includes one instructor and all required supplies. Maximum 30 kids at a time- you may book multiple sessions for larger groups, or ask us about customizing a program to suit your event!
