Looking for a couple hours of activities for the kids? EFK Winnipeg is excited to announce the return of "Science Saturdays", a monthly event for kids interested in trying out our engineering programs! This page will be updated each month with the next session's schedule and age range. You must sign up for each class individually. This is the LAST event of this school year! We’re excited to finish out the year with aerospace engineering! This afternoon is all about rockets: we’ll build mini versions of rockets and create our own mechanical launchers, then head outside for a bottle rocket launch. Plus, we’ve got an aerospace-themed craft in the middle of the afternoon to give our brains a little break. Spots for this event are limited! Please sign up all children wishing to participate in the activities. Younger siblings are invited to watch the bottle rocket launch with their parents at the end of the day. - May 31, 2025 - 1pm-4pm - Champlain Community Centre (282 Niverville Avenue) Kids should bring a water bottle, and socks or indoor shoes. If bringing a snack, please ensure it is nut-free.
