School Workshops - June Special
Introductory engineering activities for groups. A great way to add to the end of your school year!
Service Description
Book an instructor to bring an engineering activity to your group. All materials are included and kids get to keep what they make. This seasonal list of workshops is different from our regular large group workshop offerings and includes some activities which will not be available over the summer, and are available at the discounted rate for schools booking in June. All activities are recommended for elementary school classrooms (approximately Kindergarten to Grade 6). ACTIVITY SELECTIONS: - Straw Rockets: work as aerospace engineers to construct and launch a mini indoor (or outdoor) rocket! - Breathe Easy: work as environmental engineers to construct a greenhouse for planting a seed! - Flashlights: work as electrical engineers to craft a functional popsicle stick flashlight! 30 students maximum per workshop- if you have more than 30 kids, you must book additional sessions. For groups of 10 or less, or to book multiple days, please contact winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com to book directly. Bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis and not considered confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us! Submitting a request here does not confirm your booking and does not guarantee that we have that date/ time available. We will respond to all booking requests within 48 hours. Workshops are available Monday - Friday 9am-3pm in June.
