LWCC Evening Program - age 4-7 (spring)

Service Description

Welcome to STEAM Club: Springtime Spectacular! Fun for new and returning students alike, STEAM club participants will get to colour, craft, and create as they learn about science and engineering. There is limited repeated material from previous STEAM Club Sessions. This junior level class runs 45 minutes. Over the course of 8 weeks, we'll be exploring all things spring: wind, rain, flowers, colours, and more in classic EFK crafting-meets-science classes. Each week includes a story book and a new hands-on crafting activity with a take-home item. This is our last session of the school year! There is 1 instructor for every 6 students (minimum 2 instructors). Parents may stay for the class, or drop students off and pick up at the end of class time. TUESDAYS April 7-May 26 (8 classes) 4:30pm-5:15pm Linden Woods Community Centre (414 Lindenwood Dr. W) The more you attend, the more you save! - $15 for a single class - you can attend any 1 class - $52 for half session (4 weeks at $13/ class) - you can attend any 4 classes -$96 for full session (8 weeks at $12/ class) Please note that we are unable to refund missed classes – if you know you will not be able to attend the full session, please register for "1 class" for all of the dates you will be attending, or select the "4 class" option and add individual classes as required. This is an introductory engineering class with an emphasis on crafting and creating. It is recommended for age 4-7. All activities can be modified to increase or decrease difficulty for individual students. PLEASE NOTE: If you have children in both junior and apprentice age groups and would like to keep them together, please contact winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com to discuss which class is better suited.
