Large Group Workshop - 2025!

Service Description

Book an instructor to bring an engineering activity to your group. All materials are included and kids get to keep what they make. Perfect for day cares and home school groups! Junior Engineers (ages 4-7): - Building Roads: work as teams of civil engineers to design a table-top city! - Ding Dong, Pizza Delivery: work as mechanical engineers to build a covered wagon! - Ice Skating: work as electrical engineers to make a magnetic toy! - New Heights Helicopters: work as aerospace engineers to create a craft stick helicopter! - Straw Rockets: work as aerospace engineers to construct and launch a mini indoor rocket! Apprentice Engineers (ages 8-12): - Castle Construction: work as teams of civil engineers to construct paper towers, with walls to defend against attacks! - Clever Lever: work as mechanical engineers to turn a simple lever into a grabber tool! - Operation: work as electrical engineers to build your own version of the Operation board game! - Taking Flight: work as aerospace engineers to design paper airplanes and blimps! Perfect for all ages: - Bottle Rockets: work as aerospace engineers on a mini outdoor rocket launch! **requires outdoor space WITH GRASS to secure the launcher. Please allow up to 90 minutes for bottle rocket activity (no additional cost) - Cool Chemistry: watch as your instructor creates heat and cold with everyday substances, then work as chemical engineers to mix up your own batch of silly putty! With the exception of Building Roads and Castle Construction, all workshops end with a physical item for each participant to bring home. 30 students maximum per workshop- additional $7/ student for groups over 30.
