One-off events and recurring classes for homeschool groups!
Service Description
Book an instructor to bring an engineering activity to your homeschool group! All materials are included and kids are actively participating the whole time. We are pleased to offer workshops of varying lengths and difficulty to suit groups of different sizes/ ages. OPTION 1: A one-off event. Please take a look through our large and small group workshops to make your selection. Prices are as noted on those pages. (Home > Workshops + Parties > Large Group Workshops or Small Group Workshops) OPTION 2: A weekly class, with different options for different ages, and a new theme every semester! Weekly classes can be booked for anywhere from 5-10 weeks with stand-alone activities such that additional kids can join at any point. Check out our homeschool class themes for Fall 2026 (available from September to December): o Junior Engineers: Falling for Fun - From weather and harvest to autumn celebrations and art, this unique group of classes combines the beauty of the season with hands-on science learning and tons of cool take-home items. A junior class is 45 minutes and features a story book for each activity. Activities are a unique blend of science and crafting. Recommended for ages 4-7. o Apprentice Engineers: Medieval Mayhem - Recreate the engineering of medieval times! From catapults and castles to windmills and jousting, this session has lots of opportunity for design. Each activity takes up to two classes, with time to learn, design, build, test, and improve each design. An apprentice class is 60 minutes. Recommended for ages 8-12. Recurring class fees: o $15/ student per junior class o $20/ student per apprentice class o Minimum 6 junior students and 5 apprentice students, or minimum $90 fee per class. o Mileage: $0.73/km both ways for locations outside of Winnipeg, measured from the nearest perimeter. Mileage fee waived for recurring classes in Hanover and Borderland school divisions if class fee exceeds $200 per class (13 junior students or 10 apprentice students)! Bookings include 1 instructor and materials for all participants. A parent must stay for the duration of each class. Recurring and one-off classes are available Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm, pending instructor availability. You do not need to choose the same time every week!
