Service Description
Book an instructor to bring robots to your homeschool group! Using Lego Spike Prime kits, students will learn block coding through a series of themed challenges. We'll explore the various components of the kits like sensors and actuators, and figure out how to build and program our robots to do amazing things! Students work in teams of 2 or 3. Maximum 15 students per group. Robots and laptops provided for class use only. Robotics sessions are available as one-time or recurring as frequently as you would like! We recommend weekly for 5 weeks - one themed set of challenges can be covered in 5 weeks. Fees: o $250 per class (up to 15 students in a class) o A mileage fee of $0.73/km both ways applies to locations outside of Winnipeg, measured from the nearest perimeter. Mileage fee waived for recurring classes in Hanover and Borderland school divisions! Bookings include 1 instructor and materials for all participants. A parent must stay for the duration of each class. Recurring and one-off classes are available Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm, pending instructor availability. You do not need to choose the same time every week! Submitting a request does not guarantee a booking.
