Service Description

Using LEGO® Spike Prime robotics kit, students will learn how to build robots with sensors and actuators, and program them using block coding to complete amazing challenges! Each session is a new theme. First up: da Vinci’s Workshop! In this program, students will explore concepts such as navigation, gear and pulley systems, catapults, and flywheels! Why not learn about the early inventions of the Italian High Renaissance using the robotics technology of today? This class is beginner-friendly, but does not repeat ANY challenges from ANY of our previous coding classes! Recommended for ages 8-12, but some younger students with previous experience with LEGO® or block coding may wish to participate - please contact winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com or 204-808-3019 directly to discuss registering kids outside of the recommended ages. MONDAYS October 20-December 15 (9 weeks) 4:45pm-6:15pm Fort Garry Community Centre - Hobson 880 Oakenwald Ave Participants work in teams of 2 and are paired by age.
