Service Description

It’s time for robot basic training! Battle bots need to be able to follow precise instructions. Students will build, modify, and program a robot using the LEGO® Spike Prime kit. They will learn to use motors and sensors to detect objects and assist in navigation, culminating in a class wide robot battle tournament on the last day! This is a beginner class with lots of emphasis on building and designing the robots, and lots of guidance given to program them. Laptops and robots provided for use during class time. There are no take-home items in this course. SATURDAYS MAY 4, 11, 18, 25 - 10:00am-12:00pm - RoboBattles - All About Theatre Studios (288 McDermot Avenue) This class is intended for ages 8-12. Please contact winnipeg@engineeringforkids.com or 204-808-3019 to discuss registering kids outside of these age guidelines. As the classes build on previous material, it is recommended to enroll in all 4 classes, however one-class options are available. Please call or email to book directly.
