Birthday Parties

Service Description

Book an instructor to bring science to your special day! We'll bring all supplies, set up, and clean up the activity at a venue of your choice. A parent is required onsite for the duration of the party. SCIENCE & ENGINEERING PARTY THEMES ($200/ party, recommended for ages 4 and up): Each party package includes one instructor for one hour of themed activities for up to 30 guests. For groups larger than 15, we highly recommend having at least 2 additional helpers (other parents or older siblings!). An additional EFK instructor may be available by request and for an additional fee. -- COOL CHEMISTRY: Eureka! Each party guest will become a chemical engineer, interacting with hot and cold experiments and mixing up their own batch of silly putty. Time includes up to 15 minutes of group games. Requires access to water and a drain. -- BIRTHDAY BLASTOFF: Calling all aerospace engineers! Guests at this party will make their own bottle rockets and watch them launch. Time includes up to 15 minutes of group games. NOTE: This activity requires outdoor space with grass to secure the rocket launcher and is only available as the weather allows. You may substitute straw rockets for an indoor aerospace party in any weather! CODING & ROBOTICS PARTY THEMES ($250/ party, recommended for ages 8 and up): Each party package includes one instructor for two hours of themed activities for up to 15 guests. May be subject to seasonal availability. -- BIRTHDAY BATTLE BOTS (recommended for ages 8 and up): Let's get ready to rumble! Guests at this party will work in pairs using Lego Spike Prime kits to build and code a battle bot, and face off in a friendly battle. **Robots for party use only. Submitting a booking request does not confirm your party. Please use the booking form to request your date and we will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm the party, or suggest an alternate time. NEW: Engineering for Kids party activities are available at The Sports Xpress in Oak Bluff! Please contact Engineering for Kids or The Sports Xpress directly for more information. Parties at The Sports Xpress receive a discount off their EFK fee!
