Service Description

A fun-filled introduction to electrical and computer engineering! Each week, students will learn computer coding to create working apps through Bitsbox, with the option to enhance their apps with their own creative ideas! Some weeks will alternatively feature a hands-on electrical engineering project: build a working flashlight, a variable resistor, a light-up greeting card, and snap circuits. Class takes place in the computer lab. Students will be able to access their designed apps at home through any updated internet browser by creating a free account with Bitsbox (requires email address). An account is NOT required to create apps during the class. Computers are provided for use during the class, but students may choose to use their own laptop or tablet. Recommended for ages 6-12. Space is limited!
